Angelica Cresswell is a multidisciplinary artist specialising in 3D digital media. Her work focuses on building immersive virtual environments that simulate a perception of the world through a neurodivergent lens. These environments are often inhabited by emotive anthropomorphised characters that find themselves in bizarre and surreal situations. Angelica’s films have been described as a “psychedelic nightmare” and demonstrative of “living in a perpetual breakdown”.
Her work has been featured in the Royal Academy A-level Online Summer Exhibition in 2018 and in BBA Gallery's online exhibition The Rota Room in 2021. Angelica was shortlisted for the Royal Academy's 2021 Summer Exhibition and featured in the online exhibition for the Ruth Borchard Collection's 2021 self portrait prize longlist. Angelica has also worked with Pilot Magazine to create 3D elements for their promotional videos.
